Reepham Church and Marquee Wedding
Charlotte & Fred | August 3rd 2024
Charlotte and Fred booked my full day package which included a pre-wedding photo shoot. This enabled them to feel more at ease in front of the camera before their big day. They decided to bring their dogs along, which I was very happy to hear because I love dogs! I met Charlotte, Fred with their two spaniels and collie for a walk through the woods and beach. We had beautiful weather for their pre-wedding photo shoot and the dogs enjoyed playing on the beach.

For their wedding, Charlotte and Fred chose Reepham Church for the ceremony, followed by a marquee in a nearby field for their wedding reception. The bridal preparations took place at their beautiful country home which was spacious, full of light and the perfect setting for a relaxed morning with the girls. Fred had arranged for a handwritten letter and gift to be handed to Charlotte during her morning. This was the perfect sentiment and very emotional to witness.
Meanwhile, Fred and his groomsmen were getting ready a short walk away at The Dial House, Reepham. This was a prime location with stunning decor and lots of natural light. I had plenty of time to capture many candid moments from both of their mornings and to put them at ease that things were running smoothly!

After a few group photos at both locations, I headed to the church in time for Charlottes arrival. She had chosen delicate pastel flowers that complemented her sage green and beige colour scheme perfectly. Fred was emotional as he watched Charlotte walk down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning and their ceremony was very moving. Afterwards, the newlyweds were greeted with a colourful confetti exit, followed by group photos in front of the church.
The celebrations continued at the marquee reception, set in a picturesque field by a lake. It was complete with a horse box bar – The Copper Cork, golden hay bales and acoustic singers – The Colliflowers. An idyllic and serene country setting! Each table was thoughtfully named after their farm animals and pets and the wooden decorations added the perfect rustic touch. The guests mingled outside with a drink while the children had fun playing by the hay bales. Before the wedding breakfast Charlotte, Fred and I went for a stroll round the lake for some couple photos. Every backdrop was beautiful and Charlotte and Fred absolutely nailed their photo session!

Fred’s best man, Luke announced them into the marquee and the speeches began. The perfect balance of heartfelt moments and humour had everyone engaged, with plenty of priceless reactions captured on camera. After the wedding breakfast a relaxed afternoon unfolded and I was able to capture many candid moments, including some adorable photos of the little ones. Once the evening guests had arrived, Charlotte and Fred cut their stunning wedding cake and began their first dance. The Edwardian style band, The Iron Boot Scrapers effortlessly had the dance floor buzzing with their unique blend of pop and rock songs and fantastic stage presence! Zoe from Glitter and Glo added to the party atmosphere by painting faces and even the children joined in for a mini dance off with the band.

Once dusk fell, Charlotte and Fred had some photos by the lake with the festoon lights that Fred had thoughtfully set up the day before. And of course, I couldn’t leave without getting a few last photos of them on the hay bales – It was the perfect way to round off their magical day!
