Norfolk Mead Wedding Photographer
Jamie & Jade | October 4th 2025
The Norfolk Mead is a fantastic wedding venue – always so well organised, with incredible food. It’s safe to say I was thrilled to be back. Jamie and I were childhood friends, but we hadn’t crossed paths in years, so I felt honoured when Jade asked me to be their wedding photographer. They brought their son, Loic, along to their pre-wedding shoot to capture some family memories alongside their engagement photos. It also helped him feel comfortable in front of the camera ahead of the big day. It’s safe to say Loic completely stole the show!
An Autumnal Wedding at The Norfolk Mead
Jade and her bridesmaids got ready at The Norfolk Mead, just a short walk from the ceremony room. The morning was relaxed and emotional, with a beautiful reveal between Jade, her parents and bridesmaids. Jade looked stunning in a fitted, off-the-shoulder dress from local Norwich bridal boutique Pure Brides. Jade had chosen gorgeous golden dresses from Six Stories for her bridesmaids. One of the highlights of getting married at The Norfolk Mead, is that the aisle begins outside in the garden, meaning guests could watch the bridal party as they walked down the aisle.

Loic was in Jamie’s arms throughout the ceremony, making it an incredibly special moment for the three of them. Jamie’s younger brother provided the rings, while their mum delivered a heartfelt reading – there were more than a few teary eyes, which are some of my favourite candid moments to capture. As a surprise for Jamie, Jade had organised a saxophonist to play during their exit down the aisle, which was such a fun and personal touch.
Guests lined the garden path for confetti, creating one of my favourite images of the day. We followed this with a full group photo and then smaller, fun group shots around the garden, with autumnal leaves and lush green grass setting the scene perfectly. Guests then headed inside for canapés and Polaroids for the guest book.
Golden Hour By The River
Once guests were seated, Jamie and Jade were announced in for speeches before the wedding breakfast. The room was filled laughter and happy tears during some fantastic speeches. Around golden hour, we made our way towards the river for couple portraits. We stopped on the bridge and by the willow tree. The light was absolutely stunning, and Jamie and Jade were a dream to photograph. Loic had just woken from his nap, so we were able to capture some adorable family photos in the garden to complete the set. Awake and full of energy, he soon enjoyed being chased around the dance floor!
Before the light faded, I also took some fun photos with Jade and her bridesmaids – who even decided to pick Jamie up once they’d persuaded him to come outside!
Night Portraits In The Garden
As the evening approached, Jamie and Jade to cut the cake – a stunning white pearl design made my Jamie’s mum. I then suggested some night portraits using direct flash, and they were totally up for it. We captured some photos of them walking through the garden, including the perfect dip!
A Relaxed, Family-Focused Wedding Day
Soon after. it was time for the first dance, with Loic joining them at the end. The dance floor was wild, colourful and full of energy. I have so many favourite photos from Jamie and Jade’s wedding day.
“Hannah was our wedding photographer, and within our package we also had a pre-wedding shoot.
Hannah was incredible! We brought our son to the pre-wedding shoot and she instantly made us feel comfortable and our son loved her.
On our wedding day everyone complimented how lovely Hannah was. We also received even more compliments when we shared our amazing photos.
We have SO many stunning photos that capture our memories for a lifetime!
I highly recommend Hannah!”
