Unique Norfolk Venues – Manor Mews Wedding Photography
Megan & Mark | June 8th 2024
Photographing Megan and Mark’s wedding was a very special experience for me. I had known them for a several years and had the pleasure of capturing their son, Harry’s newborn photo shoot, a few years prior. This made the occasion even more meaningful. Megan had booked me an incredible 3 years in advance and being part of their journey was a real honour!
It was great to be back at Manor Mews Wedding venue, another one of Unique Norfolk Venues locations. A beautiful barn and filled with charm, amidst the North Norfolk countryside.
A rustic barn wedding in Norfolk
Both Megan and Mark got ready on site and the atmosphere during the morning was delightfully chilled. In fact, it was so chilled that I was offered a glass of Prosecco by Meg the moment I arrived! The giggles and calm atmosphere set the tone for the rest of the day. As I’d expected it was filled with smiles and laughter from start to finish. It was also a pleasure to work alongside Emma, who was Megan’s make up artist. Emma and I went to the Primary school together and she is also my nail technician. I am really excited to be photographing Emma’s wedding day in 2025! As a Norfolk wedding photographer, I really don’t think there is a better compliment.
The love the couple have for each other was evident in every moment of their wedding day. Their son, Harry is the sweetest little boy. He enjoyed having his photo taken with mummy and daddy – he even helped carry the rings during their ceremony!
The relaxed vibe suited the rustic barn down to a T. Megan had chosen black and white decorations which really popped against the warm orange bricks. The disco sunglasses were a particular favourite on the dance floor. It is these little details that I take great pleasure in capturing.
Relaxed wedding photography
It was great to see some familiar faces in the guests – I really felt like part of the family! In the evening, we were lucky enough to get a golden hour for some portraits of the couple. We were later joined by their son and these moments provided some really precious memories! I always love to capture the authenticity of a wedding day along with its true-to-life colours. Creating candid and timeless photographs is my passion.
It was an absolute joy to witness the love shared between such an awesome couple and their family and friends. Moments like these are why I love what I do as a Norfolk wedding photographer. I thrive on capturing colourful, authentic moments filled with genuine emotion.

“Hannah is incredible!! We booked her 3 years ago knowing that we only wanted her to capture our day and wow, did she do that! It was friendly, relaxed and super comfortable with Hannah from the beginning. All of our guests commented on how lovely and discreet she was. We had a romantic and relaxed day full of happiness and fun and that’s exactly what our beautiful pictures show. Thank you so much for capturing everything that we and our family are and for making the day even more dreamy and enjoyable! We would give you more than 5 stars if we could!!! Xx” – M&M
Megan and Mark, thank you for letting me share your day with you at Manor Mews. It was an absolute joy to preserve these memories for you!
Beautiful wedding days like these that make me wonder how I can even call it work! I am so lucky because being a Norfolk wedding photographer is the best job in the world!
