Hockwold Hall Wedding
Alice & George | August 25th 2024
I was recommended to Alice by one of her friends who I had previously worked with on another wedding. Alice and George are great lovers of flora and fauna so it made sense for them to have a Hockwold Hall wedding. For their pre-wedding photo shoot they chose somewhere that I hadn’t been before – East Runton Old Vicarage Garden. It was beautiful and full of colourful flowers. It got us all very excited for their big day!
Outdoor wedding ceremony in Norfolk
On wedding morning, Alice got ready in the prep room at Hockwold Hall and had chosen two stunning dresses for the day. It was great to see Alice looking so excited for her wedding and also her MUA, Amanda Steed again as I had recommended her to Alice who wanted a very natural make up look. George and his groomsmen arrived mid morning, suited and ready for photos at the front of Hockwold Hall. After the groomsmen had headed to the wedding garden, Alice and her bridesmaids moved over to the bridal suite to get her into her first dress. Alice looked incredible and had even created her very own perfume at EPC London for her special day.
Garden wedding venue
Their ceremony took place in front of a flower filled pergola in the garden. Alice and her bridal party walked through the cast iron gates and down the aisle. It was the most beautiful setting. During the legal signing, a dragon fly landed on George’s hand and luckily stayed there long enough for me to get a photo! They left the ceremony through a confetti line and after the outdoor drinks reception, the guests joined in for some group photos. I was even able to get up on the roof, alongside the peacocks for the full group shot. We managed to squeeze in some couple photos before every one was called in to be seated.

The wedding breakfast was set in the stunning and spacious marquee. The speeches included some childhood stories and a photo presentation of timeless memories from the bride and grooms families. Before the evening party commenced, we headed outside for some more couple portraits, making the most of the grounds and Alice’s second dress. As dusk fell, the couple began their first dance surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The partying commenced shortly after with Hockwold Hall revealing its colourful dance floor! The evening included a chocolate fountain, a few vibrant shots and some epic dance moves.
